Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 Canon Chaigneau charges out of the gate with bold notions of blackberry preserves, stewed plums and mulberries, plus hints of underbrush, powdered cinnamon, bouquet garni and lavender. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock-full of juicy black fruits, framed by velvety tannins and well-knit freshness, finishing long and spicy.
