The Malartic Lagraviere 2017 Blanc (a blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Sémillon) features ripe apples, fresh hay and shaved almonds with dried herbs, preserved lemons and kumquat in the background. Medium-bodied, it is super intense and minerally in the mouth with a crisp line and long finish.

Tasted blind. Pale lemon-green colour. Very fresh and vibrant on the nose, all citrus and green fruit. There is a slight reductive flintiness but it is not obtrusive to the fruit. The palate follows, with mouth-watering acidity and zesty fruit. Very finely etched, with good delineation and precision. The spice is subtle, waxy yet steely on the finish.
