Clos Du Mont Olivet
Lirac 2022 Marie Jausset
Reviews
Wine Spectator 90/100
An intriguing, fresh red, with a sultry mix of raspberry, bergamot and warm spices woven with singed lavender and mesquite smoke. Rooibos tea tannins keep everything knitted together through the finish, which features cool stone minerality. Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. Drink now

A stunning Lirac that proves this appellation can play in the big leagues. Wonderful nose of black fruit and pepper with a touch of black olives. The serious concentration and powdery tannins are so precisely matched, creating a fabulous harmony on the full-bodied palate. Very long, polished finish that has so much energy. A cuvee of grenache and cinsault with some mourvedre. Drink or hold.
