Bonnigal-Bodet Vignerons
Touraine Amboise 2019 Mont Luma
Reviews
The Wine Advocate 92-93/100
Tasted as a sample, the blackish red 2019 Malbec Mont Luma is enormously concentrated yet pure and refined on the deep, elegant, fruit-intense and toasty nose that has potted plummy and black fruit aromas along with melting black chocolate. Dense and lush on the velvety-textured, almost viscous palate yet with remarkable finesse and mineral freshness that goes through this big and concentrated wine like a knife, this is a pure, tight and fresh Touraine from clay-limestone soils. It reveals plenty of remarkably fine and integrated tannins. The finish is intensely fruity and vital. Tasted in June 2021. It is to be bottled in August this year. Cellar it for 3-4 years, then enjoy.
