The Wine Advocate
More serious, exhibiting notes of Meyer lemon and pear mingled with nuances of beeswax and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, chiseled and tensile, with tangy acids and a long, chalky finish, it derives exclusively from old vines growing in soils rich in limestone.

Inside Burgundy 89/100
Plantations from 1936 to 1996, on a nice slope in Chânes, more limestone in a less heavy soil. Pale in colour with a lively fruit, a mix of citrus and orchard. Slightly stricter on the palate, plenty of fruit but less flesh, and with a fine long aftertaste. The ripeness shows at the back with some baked apple, but fine natural acidity alongside. Drink from 2026-2028. Tasted Jun 2025.
