Notes of almond milk, jasmine, and white peach. This is a sweet and delicate wine, full-bodied yet fresh. It is well-balanced with good length, very classic and harmonious. The fruit lingers beautifully, without excessive oak. This is a very fine Condrieu that should offer good value for the appellation.

Mint, tropical flowers, honeyed orange, spice, and crushed stone notes all emerge from the 2023 Condrieu Les Chaillets. Medium to full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, it has a pure, focused, elegant mouthfeel and beautiful overall balance. This brilliant Condrieu is well worth seeking out, and I'd put it up with the top wines in the vintage. It will drink nicely for at least 5-7 years. Drink 2025-2031.

Yves Cuilleron’s motto is: druiven moet je zo rijp mogelijk plukken. Als lekkerbek met een voorliefde voor goed eten houdt hij van ‘vins gourmands’ (gulzige wijnen). Dat gulzige proef je terug in zijn eigen wijnen. Hij maakt ze 100% maison. Niets staat bij hem vast, hij werkt puur op gevoel. Hij observeert en stuurt bij. Selecteert eigenhandig het fruit van de oudere en jongere stokken. Dit uiterst zorgvuldige wijngaardbeheer is kenmerkend: de stokken krijgen bij Cuilleron een haute couture-behandeling. Cuilleron werkt in en rond Chavanay, iets ten zuiden van Condrieu, 59 hectare wijngaard verdeeld over Saint Joseph (Blanc), Saint Joseph (Rouge), Côte-Rôtie en Condrieu. Wine Spectator noemt hem de leider van de nieuwe generatie wijnmakers in de Condrieu, Hij wordt alom beschouwd als één van de grote wijnmaaktalenten van de noordelijke Rhône.
